Little Tykes Learning Center

Infants

Welcome to the infant room! We use the Creative Curriculum with our infants and they enjoy tummy time, songs and finger plays, reading time, art projects, outdoor time, gross motor activities and much more! Our lead teacher helps to make the transition an easy one for the babies and their parents. We also complete Ages and Stages assessments for the infants. Our infant room is nice and small so that we can focus on quality care and truly get to know your baby and your family. We have 4 infants in our infant room and each baby has his or her own crib. Because we like to keep our infant room at low numbers we are often running a wait list. Please call for more details about availability.

Toddlers

Hi toddler families! What a wonderful age for your child to be! Our toddlers range from 12 months to 2 1/2 years old. We encourage independence and LOVE to learn new things! We use the Creative Curriculum with our toddlers and a typical day in the toddler room includes; choice time, outdoor time, circle time, read-a-louds, and art. Toddlers also work with letters, numbers, shapes, and colors. We do lots of gross motor activities and work collaboratively with parents to start the potty training process and complete Ages and Stages assessments for our toddlers.  Our toddler room has 12 toddlers and 3 teachers.
